Career Driven is an interactive online experience designed to make career exploration fun and engaging. This participant-driven tool helps dealerships attract new talent by showcasing various career opportunities in an immersive way.
Through Career Driven, young people can explore different roles within a dealership by interacting with virtual employees who share their career stories. Instead of reading static job descriptions, users get a more personal and engaging perspective on each role.
The experience focuses on entry-level positions, making it especially valuable for those looking to start a career right after high school.
Career Driven has two key components:
- An interactive experience for junior and high school students
- Dealer resources to support outreach efforts
Students can explore career paths independently, while dealers can access tools like the customizable PowerPoint to introduce Career Driven in classrooms and other settings.
Dealers can log in to download a special PowerPoint presentation, designed to help them introduce Career Driven in classrooms.

What is a dealer Career Night Kit?
The MDA knows the challenges of bringing in young people to work in your dealerships. We started with the online interactive recruiting support called Career Driven www.careerdriven.ca. In phase 2, we are working to attend some career fairs and are working on online marketing to get the word out. We understand there may not be a career fair in your area for you to attend, so we wanted to create a simple package of tools to help you host a career fair at your dealership.
In offering you this kit, we wanted to make it easy for your dealership and tie it into the resources already created for Career Driven.
The kit contains:
- Sample social media posts and hashtags
- Email invitations to schools
- Posters to hang at participating schools and within your dealership
- 15 and 30-second radio scripts promoting the event
- Media invitation
- News release
- General event overview with backgrounder
- PowerPoint template for presentations
- Directional signage for within the dealership
- Ad graphics for local newspapers
- QR code directing people to careerdriven.ca
Simply go through the package, and every time you see [brackets], you will know that this is an area you need to fill in with your own information. It could be your dealership name, a date, etc.
Once you have personalized each materials for your event, you can start printing them and sending them off!
